On Saturday March 7, 2020 St. Patrick’s Youth will be going to the Lift Jesus Higher Rally held at the John Basset Theatre inside the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
The theme of the 2020 Youth Rally is “Jesus is King” and will be a day filled with motivating talks, inspirational testimonials, powerful worship music, meeting other teens, adoration, mass and an opportunity for confession. The Youth Rally will be held at the John W. H. Bassett Theatre for attendees ranging in ages from 13 to 18.
This all-day event is for members of St. Patrick’s Youth and their friends! We will be meeting at the parish at 7:30am to board the bus to Toronto. The bus promptly leaves at 7:45am sharp. The event starts at 9am and will go until 6pm (after Mass) at which point we will take the bus back to St. Patrick’s Parish. Pick-up at St. Patrick’s should be around 6:45pm-7:00pm.
Please note that lunch is NOT provided, so please bring a lunch or money for lunch. You can also bring pocket money as there will be Catholic vendors.
The Parish is subsidizing the trip to cover the cost of the bus as we feel like this is an amazing opportunity for all teens be a part of. The trip cost is only $15 (ticket price only), however if you would like to contribute more it would be much appreciated. Permission form is below. Parents and/or Guardians are encouraged to join us if you can!
