CHRISTMAS BASKET!
A Christmas Basket is a package full of non-perishable food items, Christmas cards and gifts for a needy parish family through the society of St. Vincent De Paul. St. Patrick’s Youth has been committed in providing a basket for a family for many years and this year will be no different!
Please read the guideline below before bringing your items
POTLUCK DINNER
This is going to be a potluck dinner, so we’re asking everyone if they could bring a small snack to share with the group. It doesn’t have to be for 40 people, but if everyone just brings a small amount of food, it would be plenty! Please be aware of the ingredients of your potluck item, for some people in our group have food allergies (all nuts, sunflower seeds, chickpeas, lentils, egg/dairy).
BASKET GUIDELINES
Please help fill our basket with not only love, but some essentials to help our family enjoy the Christmas season!
Food (50%) – non-perishable items, and food voucher for meat
Personal Hygiene (10%) – tooth paste/brushes/dental floss, hair shampoo, shower gels, skin creams/lotions, vaseline, soap
Clothing (20%) – winter caps, gloves, scarves, socks (Gift voucher per person-max $50)
Gifts/Toys (20%) – toys not requiring batteries (Gift voucher per person- max. $50)
